About me

Joanna M. Rives is living her third life as a junior software engineer in the wonderland of the Pacific Northwest! She has made a home with her amazingly talented and kind partner and their three cats. She believes that programming is an act of careful and consider craft best done in community.

In her spare time she enjoys long peripatetic walks, reading non-fiction and sci-fi, listening to synthwave and IDM, sketching miniatures, and tangential blogging.

Her preferred pronouns are she/her, they/them and it would make her day to be introduced as Mx. Rives.
