Why did you leave a successful career to pursue programming?
Technology and programming have always fascinated me. As a child I enjoyed dismantling small appliances to see how they worked and experiementing with the few Macintosh desktops that our school had avaiable. I tinkered with writing programs on a hand-me-down Timex Sinclair ZX81 even though it was missing the cassete player needed to store programs and my parents could not afford to replace it. As an adult, I continued to pursue my love of technology and found my interest in programming renewed as I've witnessed how programming provides dynamic and powerful tools to conquer the problems that I care most about in the world.
